FAQ

Common Student Finance Questions

Am I eligible if I've never studied before?

Yes. Many of our learners are returning to education for the first time in years. We'll guide you through the entry requirements and finance application.

I already have a degree — can I still get funding?

Possibly. The "ELQ" rule has exceptions, and some courses (like Computing, Engineering and Nursing) qualify for second-degree funding. We'll check this for you.

When do I start repaying my loan?

You only start repaying once you're earning above the government threshold — and repayments are a small percentage of income above that figure.

How long does the application take?

The online Student Finance England application takes around 30 minutes. We help you complete it correctly the first time.

Is your support really free?

Yes — 100% free for you. We're funded through our university partners.
